FC St. Pauli slipped to a 1-0 home defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt in the first league fixture of 2025. Former Millerntor favourite Omar Marmoush notched the only goal of the game on the half-hour in front of a sell-out crowd. The Boys in Brown improved strongly after making a slow start but were unable to convert any of their chances for a point that was well within the bounds of possibility.

FC St. Pauli lost 2-1 at Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday in a friendly behind closed doors. The second-division outfit took the lead on the half-hour through a Manolis Saliakas own goal, but Under-23 forward Romeo Aigbekaen equalised almost immediately. Robin Krauße grabbed the winner for the home side four minutes from time.

FC St. Pauli ended the year on a positive note after a 1-0 win at VfB Stuttgart on Saturday afternoon. Johannes Eggestein got the only goal in front of a sell-out crowd at the MHP Arena, and though he missed a second-half penalty the Boys in Brown went on to secure three vital points thanks to a magnificent team performance, especially in defence.
