FC St. Pauli failed to land their third consecutive win on Saturday afternoon after being held to a 1-1 draw by FC Augsburg. The Boys in Brown took a deserved lead when Noahkai Banks put through his own goal after 17 minutes and looked set for victory thanks to a strong defensive performance, only for Mert Kömür to level the scores with Augsburg's second attempt on goal eight minutes before the end of regulation time.

FC St. Pauli lost 2-1 at Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday in a friendly behind closed doors. The second-division outfit took the lead on the half-hour through a Manolis Saliakas own goal, but Under-23 forward Romeo Aigbekaen equalised almost immediately. Robin Krauße grabbed the winner for the home side four minutes from time.
