St. Pauli to play friendly at Brøndby IF

Another warm-up game has been scheduled as part of the club's preparations for the 2018/19 season. Markus Kauczinski's side will visit Danish outfit Brøndby IF on Sunday, 8 July. Kick-off at the Brøndby Stadium is at 1500 CET.
Before the Boys in Brown head off to their training camp in Maria Alm (Austria) from Tuesday, 10 July to Thursday, 19 July, they will face a really stiff test against the Danish side. FCSP fans will be allocated tickets for the J.Jensen North Stand and further details will be announced in due course.
Tickets will be priced as follows:
- Adults: 100 Danish crowns (approx. 13.40 euros)
- Children: 50 Danish crowns (approx. 6.70 euros)
Alexander Zorniger's team had a great season last term, winning the Danish cup and finishing runners-up in the league. Brøndby finished the regular season in top spot (18 wins, 6 draws, 2 defeats) and started the ten-match championship playoff with six wins on the bounce, but just three points from the final four games (3 draws, 1 defeat) saw them lose out in the championship race to FC Midtjylland, who finished with four wins out of four. Zorniger's side had more joy in the cup competition, coming from behind to beat Silkeborg IF 3-1. It was Brøndby's seventh cup triumph and their first since 2008.
