BOYS IN BROWN TO CONTEST FREIBURG FRIENDLY

FC St. Pauli will contest a friendly at top-flight outfit SC Freiburg on Thursday, 7 October (kick-off: 18:30 CET), as part of the festivities to mark the opening of the club's new Europa-Park Stadium.
Timo Schultz's side have taken advantage of the second international break of the season to arrange an attractive friendly at SC Freiburg, who currently sit fourth in the Bundesliga table. The game will kick off at 18:30 CET on Thursday, 7 October, when the new Europa-Park Stadium, on which construction began in November 2018, opens its doors for the first time.
Matchups with Freiburg have traditionally been high-scoring affairs. The most recent meeting of the two sides in the second tier in April 2016 was a seven-goal thriller, with the home side eventually coming out on top 4-3.
