SIX PLAYERS AWAY ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

In Nikola Vasilj, Karol Mets, Jackson Irvine, Connor Metcalfe, Danel Sinani and debutant Elias Saad, six St. Pauli players have hooked up with their respective national teams for the first international break of the season this week.

Elias Saad has caught the eye with some impressive performances of late, prompting Tunisia coach Jalel Kadri to name the wide player in his squad for the first time. Tunisia host Botswana in an Africa Cup qualifier on Thursday evening (18.00 CET) and then follow up with a friendly in Egypt on Tuesday.

Nikola Vasilj and Bosnia and Herzegovina have two EURO qualifiers ahead of them. On Friday evening, Meho Kodro's side entertain Lichtenstein at Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica (20.45 CET) before taking on Iceland at Laugardalsvöllur Stadium in Reykjavik on Monday evening (20.45 CET).

Danel Sinani and Luxembourg also have two qualifiers to negotiate. On Friday evening, Luxembourg play host to Iceland at Stade de Luxembourg (20.45 CET). Luc Holtz's team then contest their second EURO qualifier in Portugal on Monday evening (20.45 CET).

Karol Mets also returns to action for Estonia, with two EURO qualifiers lined up for Thomas Häberli's men. Estonia entertain Sweden in Tallinn  on Saturday (18.00 CET) before going to Brussels for a meeting with Belgium on Tuesday evening (20.45 CET).

Last but not least, the Australia squad includes both Jackson Irvine and Connor Metcalfe. Mexico provide the opposition for our Aussie midfielders at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, USA, on Sunday (4.00 CET).
