FC St. Pauli have released Brazilian striker Maurides Roque Junior, 30, to Hungarian top division club Debreceni VSC to allow him to gain match practice.
Maurides arrived from Polish top-flight side Radomiak Radom in early 2023 and has made one Bundesliga, 14 Bundesliga 2 and two DFB Cup appearances for the Boys in Brown.
Reaction to the deal:
Director of sport Andreas Bornemann: "In view of the wealth of attacking options at our disposal the opportunities for Maurides to get playing time have decreased significantly. He needs and wants match practice, however, and he can get that in Hungary."
Maurides Roque Junior: "I haven't been able to show what I can do at FC St. Pauli the way I intended so far. I'm absolutely convinced of my ability and very motivated. I want to get back on the pitch in Hungary and stake a claim for further opportunities."
