Litka joins KFC Uerdingen on 12-month loan deal

Homegrown midfield talent Maurice Litka is joining KFC Uerdingen 05, newly promoted to the third division, on a one-year loan deal.
"A loan move makes total sense at this time. We hope Maurice will get lots of game time and take the next step in his development," said sporting director Uwe Stöver.
"I'm looking forward to the new challenge in the third division at KFC Uerdingen," said Litka. The move comes at the right time for my footballing and personal development. My aim is to establish myself at KFC and play a good role with the club in league 3."
Litka has been with the club since 2006. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder made the transition to the senior squad in the winter of 2014 and has made 19 second-division and three DFB Cup appearances to date. He has also played 46 times for the Under-23s (6 goals, 6 assists).
