ZANDER BEMOANS DEFENDING FROM CORNER

Here's what the players had to say after Sunday's 1-0 defeat at FC Heidenheim.

Luca Zander: "It's a set piece that really hurts, of course. You could tell they'd practised it on the training ground. It took them a long time to take it. We can't be conceding like that, we have to be more alert. It's cost us such a lot. We had enough chances in the end and we have to stick them away. For me personally, it was important to get some playing time in the second division again, but I can't be happy after a game we've lost."

Daniel Buballa: "We were much too far apart and didn't defend well as a team. It's not enough – it'll be tough if we keep playing like that. We weren't taken by surprise by all the changes to the starting lineup. We showed we have good depth in the squad. We kept playing well until the final pass, but then we were too hesitant. Over the last few weeks it's been apparent that we lack a cutting edge at the back and in front of goal and now we've conceded from a corner for the second game in a row. We all need to be a bit more alert."

Marnon Busch (FC Heidenheim): "We gave very little away today and so I think we were worth the win."
