FCSP AWAY TO SV ATLAS DELMENHORST IN DFB CUP ROUND 1

The draw for the first round of the DFB Cup was made early on Sunday evening, with the Boys in Brown handed a trip to fifth-tier SV Atlas Delmenhorst on the second weekend in August (11-14 August).
Delmenhorst, who were relegated from the fourth-tier Regionalliga last term, were beaten 2-1 by VfL Osnabrück in the regional cup final in early June but qualified automatically for the DFB Cup when Osnabrück sealed promotion to the second division.
Commenting on the draw, head coach Fabian Hürzeler said: "We’re really looking forward to the tie at Atlas Delmenhorst as it’s a real northern derby. We’ll prepare with maximum concentration because Delmenhorst will throw everything it. We can’t afford to have an off day like we did at Straelen last season when we only just scraped through. No one will be underestimating Delmenhorst here."
The tie will be scheduled by the German Football Association (DFB) in due course.
