FC St. Pauli edged closer to safety on Sunday evening after banking another point in a 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen in front of a sell-out crowd at the Millerntor. Patrik Schick gave the visitors a 32nd minute lead before Carlo Boukhalfa secured a richly deserved equaliser 12 minutes from time.

Own goal secures last-gasp win at Kiel
FC St. Pauli won 2-1 at Holstein Kiel in a fiercely contested relegation battle on Saturday afternoon. Alexander Bernhardsson gave the home side the lead, but Danel Sinani levelled the scores before the break. The winning goal arrived in second-half stoppage time.

Late Afolayan strike earns deserved point against Gladbach
FC St. Pauli drew one apiece with Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday afternoon. Alexander Blessin’s side dictated the proceedings from the word go, but the visitors took the lead through Ko Itakura on the stroke of half-time. The dominance continued in the second half, and a late strike from substitute Oladapo Afolayan earned the Boys in Brown a point they richly deserved.

Boys in Brown beaten by odd goal in five at Bayern Munich
FC St. Pauli lost 3-2 at Bayern Munich on Saturday. Harry Kane gave his side an early lead but Elias Saad levelled ten minutes later as the Boys in Brown gave as good as they got before the break. The home side dictated the proceedings in the second half, however, and a brace from Leroy Sané set them on the road to victory. Substitute Lars Ritzka pulled one back in time added on, but it came too late.
