Late Augsburg strike prevents third win in succession
FC St. Pauli failed to land their third consecutive win on Saturday afternoon after being held to a 1-1 draw by FC Augsburg. The Boys in Brown took a deserved lead when Noahkai Banks put through his own goal after 17 minutes and looked set for victory thanks to a strong defensive performance, only for Mert Kömür to level the scores with Augsburg's second attempt on goal eight minutes before the end of regulation time.

Van der Heyden arrives on loan
The Boys in Brown have strengthened their defence by taking centre-back Siebe Van der Heyden on loan from RCD Mallorca until the end of season after director of sport Andreas Bornemann agreed terms with officials of the Spanish top division club.

Aigbekaen signs professional terms
FC St. Pauli have handed a senior professional contract to Romeo Aigbekaen. The striker has run out for the Under-23s thus far but has been a regular member of the training group in recent months and featured in the Bundesliga squad for the first time against Werder Bremen.

St. Pauli see off Union Berlin to secure second win in succession
After winning at Heidenheim last week FC St. Pauli followed up by beating Union Berlin at home on Sunday. The Boys in Brown secured a highly deserved three-nil victory thanks to goals from Morgan Guilavogui (2) and Danel Sinani.

Supervisory board nominates president Oke Göttlich for new term of office
The supervisory board of FC St. Pauli has nominated Oke Göttlich, 49, for another term of office as club president. A decision on the proposal will be taken by members at the end of the year. Göttlich has been in office since 2014.

Sands: "I didn't need much convincing"
James Sands made his first start for the Boys in Brown in the 2-0 win at Heidenheim last Saturday after joining the club on loan from MLS club New York City FC during the winter break. In the run-up to Sunday's visit of Union Berlin (17.30 CET), the American took time out to speak to the media.
