Arigatō & Sayōnara, Ryō!
Another farewell that hurts. After six years at the Millerntor, Ryō Miyaichi leaves the Boys in Brown this summer. The attacking wide player thrilled the fans from the word go. He was a win for the club not only as a footballer but also as a person, but unfortunately his time at the Millerntor was shaped by injuries. Miyaichi never gave up, though, and fought his way back every time. It remains to be seen where the likeable Japan international will go next. But what we can say is that FC St. Pauli wishes him all the very best – and especially good health!

MANY THANKS FOR SEVEN YEARS AND 198 APPEARANCES! AND FOR BAGS OF COMMITMENT!
Daniel Buballa experienced so much in his seven years with the Boys in Brown. Lots of highs, but also lots of lows, both personally and with the team. The left-back, who turned down several interesting offers to complete a move to the Millerntor from VfR Aalen in the summer of 2015, made almost 200 competitive appearances for the club and always gave his all for the shirt. Many thanks for your indefatigable commitment, Buba!

SCHULTZ: "WE WERE UNABLE TO STEP UP A GEAR"
The Boys in Brown ended the 2020/21 campaign with a 3-0 defeat at Jahn Regensburg to sign off in tenth place. Head coach Timo Schultz had no reason to be satisfied with his team's performance after the final whistle, of course. In contrast, his counterpart Mersad Selimbegović was relieved to see his side deliver the goods and secure their second-divisions status for another year.

BOYS IN BROWN FINISH TURBULENT SEASON TENTH AFTER 3-0 REVERSE AT REGENSBURG
FC St. Pauli ended the 2020/21 season in tenth place after a 3-0 defeat at Jahn Regensburg on Sunday afternoon. The home side led 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Jann George and Andreas Albers before Sebastian Stolze added a third midway through the second half. The Boys in Brown saw out the game with ten men after Daniel Buballa was shown a second yellow card eight minutes from time.
