BOYS IN BROWN TO HOST HOLDERS DORTMUND IN LAST 16 OF CUP
The draw for the Round of 16 in the DFB Cup took place on Sunday evening and the Boys in Brown, who progressed with a 3-2 extra-time win at Dynamo Dresden in Round 2, have been handed a home tie against Borussia Dortmund to the Millerntor. The cup holders went through with a 2-0 defeat of FC Ingolstadt during the week.

FC St. Pauli secured a 1-1 draw at Werder Bremen after 90 pulsating minutes on Saturday afternoon. Marvin Ducksch gave the home side a 62nd minute lead in front of 42,100 spectators but Finn Ole Becker restored parity soon after. Simon Makienok had a goal disallowed for handball in time added on.

BOYS IN BROWN THROUGH TO NEXT ROUND AFTER 3-2 EXTRA-TIME WIN AT DRESDEN
FC St. Pauli are back in the last 16 of the DFB Cup for the first time since the legendary 2005/06 cup run thanks to a 3-2 extra-time win at Dynamo Dresden on Wednesday evening. Following an uneventful first half in which neither side packed much of a punch, the game exploded into life after the restart with four goals in ten minutes. Leart Paqarada and Max Dittgen twice gave the Boys in Brown the lead, only for Dresden to peg them back through Christoph Daferner and a Philipp Ziereis own goal, before Christopher Buchtmann grabbed the winner in the 101st minute.

BOYS IN BROWN EXTEND MILLERNTOR RUN WITH 4-0 DEFEAT OF ROSTOCK
FC St. Pauli beat Hansa Rostock 4-0 on Sunday to secure their sixth victory on the bounce at the Millerntor. In front of 22,006 home supporters, the Boys in Brown raced to a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Jackson Irvine and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh. Guido Burgstaller added a third just after the hour before substitute Simon Makienok made it 4-0 just seconds after entering the fray.
